The first day

Everything went really well with Paul's radiation today. It really seemed to take very little time and all of the staff was super nice and accomodating. They let me go in the room with them while they settled him in. There is a really thick door and wall that you have to go past. He had to lay on a table and wear this specially made mask. The clip below shows what it looks like. It went over his head and was then fastened to the table to prevent him from moving. They have music playing in there and just told him to relax. He will have another session tomorrow morning at 8:15.

After that he will have his Hickman lines inserted and then he will be admitted into the hospital.

Thank you so much for all of the emails and phone calls! I will post Paul's room information when we get him settled in. We really appreciate everyones thought and prayers. : )
